The “Born Date” is the date in which the eLiquid was manufactured and will offer insight into how long until your bottle is expired. The “Expiration Date” is the date in which the eLiquid is no longer suitable to vape. Expired eLiquid can lose its flavor, the nicotine may not be as strong, and the color may darken. The expiration date is more of a recommendation, your eLiquid will not be hazardous the day after the expiration date, nor is it bad for your health.
How Long can I keep an eLiquid?
The recommended shelf life for eLiquid is 2 years from the date of manufacturing. ELiquid will last best if kept at room temperature.
What is a batch number/lot?
When eLiquid is made, it is mixed in large quantities and bottled individually. A “batch” or “lot” number is a code used by the manufacturer to differentiate between different mixes of eLiquid. This number or code may be used to narrow a specific bottle down to the day, time, and engineer responsible for mixing that particular batch.
